| Downtown Utsunomiya is located a short 15-minute bus ride away. The medium-sized two-campus university is graced with an abundance of tall trees, providing a quiet and peaceful study environment. The Mine Campus, covering approximately 237,000 square meters (59 acres), houses administration and three faculties (International Studies, Education, and Agriculture). Its two western-style gardens, one in the French style and one in the English style, endow the campus environment with lush greenery in early summer and bring a touch of character to the university. The Yoto Campus, covering approximately 165,000 square meters (41 acres), is located two kilometers (1.25 miles) east of the Mine Campus and houses the Faculty of Engineering. Its spacious grounds blossom with a large collection of cherry blossoms in the spring. |
