| The tuition waiver system employed by national public schools is designed to assist academically high-achieving students in extraordinary circumstances which threaten their ability to continue their education. Students accepted for a tuition waiver are exempted from paying either the full amount, or half of their tuiton. |

| Circumstances under which students may apply for a tuition waiver: |

| 1. |
The student's sponsor has passed away, or been affected by a natural disaster within 6 months of tuition being due (within 1 year in the case of new enrollment) |

| 2. |
In circumstances that are deemed of similar severity as those above, and which have been accepted by the president of the university. |

| The following document must be submitted to the Student Affairs Section ( or Student Section of the Faculty of Engineering). |

Documentation which illustrates your financial situations (an official certificate issued by the local government where the student/sponsor reports their income, which attests to the assets held by the student/sponsor) |

| Notification of Application Results |
 |
| Applicants will be notified when the evaluation process has been completed. Applicants who are not granted a tuition waiver (and those granted a partial tuition waiver) are requested to submit payment for their tuition by the appropriate due date. |

| Postponement of Tution Payments |
 |
Postponement of Tuition Payments and monthly payment plans are also available upon application. Interested students should contact the Student Affairs Division ( ) or Student Section of the Faculty of Engineering ( ). |
